about my greatest friend . . . . .

the greatest friend in my life is none other my Lord and Saviour, Jesus. Wish I had His web site address, but i'll just tell you a little about Him. He's done more for me than anyone has ever done, and I owe everything that I am to Him. If you don't think God exists, or that You need Him, He does exist, and He wants to be your friend... and the day He walks into your life, your life will never be the same again. If you want to know more, tell me, and I'll introduce Him to you. He already knows you!

about my parentz . . . . .

just about the coolest parentz you can have in the world. Both are in the Ministry. My dad has served in various capacities in Assembly-of-God, Methodist and Presbyterian churches, and has spent most of the '90s as a missionary in many parts of Indonesia. He has just completed his Theology doctorate thesis, a 25000-word exploration on the Holy Spirit. My mum preaches regularly, organizes a widely-admired hospital visitation ministry, is fluent in 6 languages, and is a great cook on top of that.

How did they meet? Many, many years, on a hot tropical island called Sumatra, a young, beautiful pastor of a local parish stood by the side of a river dock, watching the "gospel ship" that had just arrived, chugging its way up the river and across the straits from Singapore. A dashing young man, fresh from a Malaysian seminary, stepped onto shore from that ship at that moment. Love at first sight. Sorry, I'm not at liberty to give you more details than that.

about Adrian . . . . .

A testimony of God's faithfulness.

and my frenz . . . . .

If I haven't got a link to your site, please forgive me for the omission. I was too "blur" perhaps. Unless your site is rated adult, please submit your address, and I'll contact you and add it as soon as I can, alright?

Now... on with the show!! Here, listed in no particular order, are links to my friends' pages.

Mark Brady's Page

One of the E.B.s. Here's a genius who's been a great help to me in just about everything including some of the Java stuff on this site. He even let me use his car when I was learning how to drive. His "Physics diatribes" at his web site have been great relief to many generations of suffering Physics 113/114 students in this university. And he's really good at "Time Crisis". And he came into college with more than 45 credit hours making him a Junior in his second semester. Have you ever seen such a bugger?? :-)

Diesel Page by Matt Dec

The leader of the E.B.s, and one of my good ang-moh friends, he's been showing cool stuff on doing my "term paper" - aka nunchakus. I love his unannounced visits... strange things always happen. And he has an irritating telepathic skill, being able to feel the vibes coming from my floor (He lives two floors downstairs) And he's a great Bible Study leader too. Don't expect any automobile stuff on this page though. It's the home of the E.B.s!

Sal's Home Page by Salvadore Lingan

Yet another of the E.B.s, and definitely the life of the party. Count on his jokes or champion moves to put you into stitches. This guy hails from a village in the Phillippines, in fact, among the E.B.s his origin is geographically the closest to mine (ie a couple of thousand miles). You'll notice his cheerfulness at his site.

Yone's Attic by Yone Yu

One of the big brothers of the E.B., this American-raised, Burmese-born Chinese guy is good at tennis, loves swing-dancing, ranked 2nd in his high school in Chicago, and has been winning photography competitions. And yet he's a great friend and shares a lot in common with me and is a ... erm... good... romantic. His huge site is full of his masterpieces, or is going to be eventually, at least. Check him out.

R4L28's Home Page by Roy Tan

I've known Roy since my BB days (1992- ). One of my good friends, my platoonmate in Basic Military Training, he's now a happy, newly-commissioned officer of the Singapore Armed Forces. What does R4L28 stand for? You could ask him. It's got something to do with his... erm... "experiences" while studying Down Under :-)

Exitus Actus Probat by Eugene Wee

What is Exitus Actus Probat?? I haven't found out yet. Still, you may want to check this guy out. Another of my friends from the BB, he's now serving National Service.

Personal Homepage by Jonathan Tan

Jonathan's really talented musically, and is really good at soccer. He serves in his church's (which is 10000 strong) worship team. We've gone through interesting times together in the BB. Even though he's serving NS (doing something cool and classified), he helps the BB Band even today. His site has got lots of pictures to tell you how life is in the BB!

Music Lovers' Page by Jason Kuan

Yet another of my close frenz in the BB. Jason, too, is good at music, and he's become really good because of the diligence he's put into practising. He hopes to use his gift to serve God. He's a platoon sergeant in the SAF... and we used to say, when we were in school, he couldn't hurt a fly!

Spiro Agnew by Daryn Kang

My classmate in Junior College is the band leader of a group called Spiro Agnew. Why the name Spiro Agnew? Hint: Try rearranging the letters of the name into a three word sentence. Anymore hints and I'll be arrested for indecency. The site looks really cool though, and has some of their music for you to try out too.

Home Page by Neville Teo

One of the most brilliant people in Singapore (perfect score - 8 As - for A Levels), he's amazingly humble about it. My platoon-mate in BMT and OCS, he has since happily disrupted for medical studies in the National University of Singapore. He's a strong Christian and has a remarkably cheerful disposition, which you'll notice on his elaborate web site.

Piper Jeremy's Page by Jeremy Ng

One of my young friends in the BB, who plays the Bagpipes and is incorrigibly naughty. He lives in the same town which I do - Woodlands, right on the border with Malaysia.

Joe's Home Page by Joey Nou

"Lovable and huggable", so the sign claims, on my floor-mate's door. A Chinese Christian from Cambodia, this guy is quite huge. Find out what his real name is. I'll give you a buck if you can remember it. Parents and siblings of Joey excluded from this offer. Ok, not really.

how about poetry?

For good or for bad, I write poetry too!
