This is a 9-page booklet on the subject of prophetic songs. Although many "charismatic" churches nowadays have people who sing prophetic songs, little has been said or taught on the subject, except for the exhortation to "sing unto the Lord a new song."
The author, who has a prophetic teaching ministry, presents her information in outline form. The style is brief and concise. Some key points have scripture references, although other statements lack such references, even at places where scripture backing would have been helpful. Nevertheless, the principles presented, presumably gleaned from the author's rich experience, are systematic, sound and to the point.
An important point is made: not everyone is appointed to be a prophetic singer. In Christ's Body, different people have different gifts.
Because of brevity's sake, the author has understandably left out some pertinent parts, such as the difference between foretelling and forth-telling, and safeguards against falsehood. Nevertheless, this booklet is still a good starting point to learn about the prophetic song.
